SEND A DIGITAL CASE
The Dental Lab accepts digital impressions from all intraoral scanners. Connect your scanner to The Dental Lab using the instructions below, or call us at (319) 337-9088 for assistance.
Trios by 3Shape
1) Log in to your 3Shape account.

2) Navigate to "Connections", then click "Add" or "Add Connections."
​
3) Search for "The Dental Lab, Inc (Iowa City)" or "techs@thedentallabiowacity.com" and click "Connect" to send a request.
iTero
A) On your iTero scanner, find "The Dental Lab Inc" (Lab ID 163566) and request a connection.
​
B) Contact Align Technology directly (email: iterosupport@aligntech.com; phone: 1-800-577-8767) to connect your office to "The Dental Lab Inc" (Lab ID 163566). You will be asked to provide your iTero Office ID (found on your scanner or on the MyiTero portal), the office/clinic name, the doctor's name, and your phone number or email.
Medit
1) Log in to your Medit Link account.

2) Click on "Partners" on the left-side navigation menu.
​
3) Search for "The Dental Lab Inc (Iowa City)" or "techs@thedentallabiowacity.com" and click "Request Partnership."
Primescan
In DS Core:
1) Log in to DS Core and navigate to your User Profile (top right corner).
​
2) Click on "Practice", and then click the tab for "Preferred Labs".
​
3) Click the option to "Add Preferred Lab" and search for "The Dental Lab Inc (Iowa City)" or search for us by zip code (52240).
​
4) Click "Add" to add it to your preferred labs list.
Carestream/DEXIS
Contact The Dental Lab at 319-337-9088 or techs@thedentallabiowacity.com to get connected.
Planmeca
1) Access "Find a Lab" on your scanner.

2) Enter "The Dental Lab Inc (Iowa City)" or search for us via our email address "techs@thedentallabiowacity.com".

3) Add us to your list of contacts or partners.
