Metal Partial Frameworks
Partial dentures with a metal base, or framework, are a popular alternative to all acrylic partials. The metal framework is typically made of a cobalt-chromium (CoCr) alloy or medical-grade titanium, both of which offer exceptional strength and durability.

Features
Partial dentures incorporate a strong metal framework into the denture base. This metal framework makes the denture more resilient and durable without adding extra bulk. Using CAD/CAM software, TDL technicians custom design the framework to your specifications to fit the patient's mouth precisely. The framework is then 3D printed using Selective Laser Milling (SLM) technology, which can produce precise and intricate designs with exceptional accuracy. After ensuring an optimal fit, we add premium denture teeth and gum-colored acrylic resin to create the final restoration.
Key Advantages
☑ High strength & durability
☑ Excellent retention
☑ Comfortable, precise fit to tissue
☑ Longest lasting removeable denture option -- metal partials last 10-15 years on average vs. 5 years for hard acrylic partials
Limitations
✗ Requires strong teeth and healthy gums
✗ Unsuitable for immediate dentures
✗ Metal clasps may be visible when talking or eating
✗ Potential for metallic taste
✗ May trigger allergic reactions in patients with metal allergies or sensitivities
✗ More expensive than all acrylic partial dentures
